The University of Canberra has posted a draft program for the (in)significance symposium, to be held on Friday 15 May 2015, at the Anne Harding Conference Centre.
Click here to go to the symposium web page, and click through on it to access the program.
Veronica Bullock, Director of Significance International, will be presenting the paper 'Sustainable heritage vs Sustainable Us' at this symposium. This paper concerns Veronica's doctoral research on sustainability policy and heritage in Australia, rather than, as you might expect, Significance 2.0.
From 4.30pm on the afternoon prior to this symposium interested people are welcome to a Heritage Education Network (HEN) discussion, at the Hothouse Studio in Building 1. RSVP's are due to co-convenor for both events Tracy.Ireland@canberra.edu.au.
This will be followed at 6.30pm by launch of the book Object Stories: Artifacts and Archaeologists by Symposium co-convenor Steve Brown, and co-authors Anne Clarke and Ursula Frederick. This will be held in the Teaching Commons of Building 1.
Hope to see you at all three events!
